Youth Classes
Youth Membership Ages 8-15
Membership Process
1) Parent should observe at least one class, or take a free trial class.
2) Speak to a youth class instructor to go over:

Dojo rules and regulations, including etiquette and personal hygiene

Blood policy
-
Beginner’s Bill of Rights (safety issues, etc.)
3) Fill out the registration form.
Note: Younger ages will be considered by chief instructor with prior martial arts experience and discussion with family

As a non-aggressive, non-competitive martial art, aikido students learn practical techniques for self-defense that focuses on harmonious body movement and balance instead of destructive striking techniques. They also learn controlled falls that will teach them to protect their own bodies and those of others.
Aikido classes are one hour long, and in them, children learn the central principles of aikido through games and practice that enhance physical coordination, timing, flexibility, and fitness. They also have a lot of fun!
We invite you to join us for a free trial class!
If you join, the cost is $80 per month, a flat rate for all classes.
Children’s class schedule:
Thursday: 4-5 p.m.
Friday: 4-5 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
