Temporary Closure due to COVID-19 Pandemic

Hello Bond Street Dojo Members and friends,

Due to the ongoing social distancing guidelines recommended by the NY city and state authorities, Bond Street Dojo will remain closed through April 15. We anticipate that the dojo may be closed for longer. However, as soon as the recommendations permit it, we will try to resume outdoor training at different locations in the city.

Meanwhile, Bond Street instructors will continue to offer daily online training opportunities, as well as sharing guest instructors and sessions from other dojos. Please monitor the Facebook page to learn more.

For those who have previously training or visited BSD, we have a private BSD Members Facebook page that will have the remote training links. We also hope to share news about online kids’ classes in collaboration with partner dojos

If you are interested in how you can help to support the future of the dojo:

  • We hope to continue with plans for our June Seminar with Mitsugi Saotome Shihan, if you can pre-registering for this event would be a huge help to the dojo

  • Help us by optimistically planning your next visit to NYC and the Bond Street Dojo with a gift certificates ($135) for future seminars, seminar class ($50) or a future visitor mat fee ($20)

  • You can always help us with a one time or reoccurring donation to the Bond Street Dojo

We are deeply appreciative of our members and supporters during this extraordinarily difficult time for the community.

Stay well and safe and be assured we will get back to training as soon as we can! The dojo board will reassess the public health recommendations on April 14th and release an update on April 15th.

Thank you, any questions please email me or the dojo board. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate this unprecedented situation.

Stay well and connected,

- Richard Webb
