Weekly- Aikido Youth classes at Bond Street Dojo
Updated: Feb 6, 2020
We are happy to announce our youth classes at Bond Street Dojo in Harlem have been expanded. Classes are for youth ages 8-15.
Using aikido principles, techniques, and games, our youth classes focus on developing self-awareness skills, focus, coordination, cooperation, and concentration in a fun, safe, and non-competitive environment.
Aikido practice also helps improve students' self-esteem and communication skills, and provides them a nourishing and supportive community. We are offering youth classes 3 days per week. Students may attend class as often as they wish with individual class and monthly rate options. No long-term contracts.
Classes:
Wednesdays: 4-5pm
Fridays: 4-5pm
Saturdays: 12:30-1:30
- Youth program will allow for students to progress through a Aikido youth ranking system
Prospective students and parents are always welcome to observe a class. Whenever the child is ready, youth students can just start taking class and learn by experience.
Rates:
- $15 per class for the first 1 month ($13 dollars for any additional siblings, or if parent is a member of the dojo)
Monthly rate after the 1st month
- Monthly: $100/month.
