Paul Kang owes his early training to Terry Dobson and Ken Nisson. Their emphasis on fundamentals and sincerity is apparent in his current teaching style. His later training approach reflects the emphasis and methodology of Saotome Shihan and his followers. Paul Kang feels that many will surely benefit from Aikido spirit and training as a vehicle in life to achieve their personal goals. Lately, providing such a tool is his obsession.

Born November 22, 1942. BS & MS in Mathematics from University of Oregon. Naturalized citizen. Employed as information system director for Sony Music Entertainment, Inc. Retired from Sony Music in 2000. 6th-dan in Aikido. Teaching classes at the Bond Street Dojo on a regular basis and serving as executive director of the Aikido Schools of Ueshiba organization.
